FAI-CIVL plenary meeting – 16 to 19 February 2012

The Commission Internationale de Vol Libre (CIVL) plenary is a meeting of delegates from CIVL member nations which is held annually. CIVL is a commission of the FAI and as such is headquartered in Lausanne, Switzerland. The plenary can be approximately considered as the “parliament” of CIVL. Rule changes for the sporting code must be voted on by the plenary, as are decisions for the locations of category 1 events and future CIVL plenary meetings. The CIVL bureau, consisting of president, four vice-presidents, secretary and finance secretary, run CIVL in between plenary meetings.

The 2012 CIVL plenary and subcommittee meetings will be held in Yilan, Chinese Taipei (Taiwan).
